BIO
Iris R. Weiss is President of Horizon Research, Inc. (HRI) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She has had extensive experience in survey design and analysis and in mathematics and science education, evaluation, and policy research. Dr. Weiss received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Cornell University, a Master's Degree in Science Education from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.Dr. Weiss has directed many of HRI's research, development, and evaluation projects and is responsible for quality control of all operations.
